Craziest thing: We are open. We have been for 3 weeks. Yes, we can now have children placed in our home. And, basically, nothing has changed. We've requested info on a sibling group from the Heart Gallery and will be able to go read their files next week.
I cannot wait to see how this all works out. I have no idea if anyone wants this to happen other than us. I haven't gotten a good feeling from those we are talking to in regards to getting information or what the "next steps" will be. I'm hoping to keep preparing my heart and our home and be ready when/if the time comes.
