So Long Middle School...for now

SUPER thankful for a great 6th grade year for Sheridan! Our last official event in Clarksville was graduation. It's a big deal to get out of middle school!

As a side note, we're thankful that in Russellville the 7th grade is also in the middle school. So, she graduated, but will go back to middle school for one more year! 

S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G B-E-E

She's studied for weeks, and today was the day! She really wanted to win and I was so proud of her composure, even though I knew she was super nervous!

Her words: rooster, bogus, trumpet, novelist, meager, flourish, thyme (all that cooking channel paid off here!), savvy, dementia, palliative...then didn't get exoneration. The winning word at her school: wherewithal. She got 2nd place, out of 37 kids, a ribbon....and a medal.

Reflections from Sheridan

One of Sheridan's 6th grade projects, a trifold brochure with info about a relative she interviewed and on the back a poem about herself. She put this info together with all these great details from her family. It was in my stocking at Christmas! She knew I would love it.
